Happy Thursday! I went on a brief blogging break after being at the beach last week, but I have several things in the works for y’all. Today, I am sharing some details about the most exciting sale of the year, which kicks off TODAY! It’s the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale aka the NSale. If you’re scratching your head wondering what this is, I’ll explain! Every July (like Christmas in July!) Nordstrom releases new Fall and Winter merchandise at super discounted prices.  It is the perfect time to stock up on sweaters, jeans, boots, bags and tops for layering! Now, here’s the scoop and my Nordstrom Anniversary Sale top picks for booties, boots and coats.

The Timing

There are two phases for shopping the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale — Early Access and Public Access. Early Access is available to all Nordstrom debit or credit card holders.  Nordstrom also offers a $40 bonus note if you sign up (open a debit or credit card here).

NOTE: There is a limit to the quantity of sale items sold, so if you really want to make the most of the sale and get this year’s hottest items, then I recommend acting fast and getting Early Access.

Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Top Picks

> BOOTIES & BOOTS <

Booties and boots are always one of the first things to sell out on the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale and there are so many options this year. Pointed toe booties, over-the-knee boots and the classic, flat bootie style are all on sale!  I am in need of a new cognac pair of booties and this flat style totally caught my eye. If comfort is key when it comes to your booties, I highly recommend the Kork-Ease booties pictured below. I got a pair last year and my feet have seriously never been so happy in a pair of booties! I am also loving the camel shade of the Steve Madden over-the-knee boots that are on sale. They would look super cute with a mini skirt!

> COATS <

I am a huge coat lover, and Nordstrom has a great range of options for this year’s Anniversary Sale! Everything from rain coats, down coats, long wool coats to cropped leather coats and denim jackets are on sale. If you don’t own a good denim jacket yet, now is the perfect time – they are perfect for transitioning from summer to fall weather! Wrap coats were pretty popular last winter, so I have a feeling this Badgley Mischka wrap coat will sell out fast. I’m also loving the cozy fleece and shearling jacket trend! They’re like wearing a soft blanket – need I say more?! Ha!
