Bachelorette Party Outfit & Ladies Weekend in South Carolina SCsScoop.com

Hello friends! It has been a little longer than I would have liked since my last post, but my bachelorette weekend at the beach is partially to blame. It was definitely a good reason to be distracted from blogging! Before I get back into my blogging rhythm, I thought I’d share my thoughts on bachelorette parties, some highlights of the ladies weekend in South Carolina and my Bachelorette Party outfit. Spoiler Alert: I have an awesome new pair of knock-off designer pumps for you all!

First, let’s talk about bachelorette parties. Honestly, I was unsure about the necessity of a bachelorette Party or weekend. I do not have a sister who would likely take the lead on planning and I did not want to ask anyone to plan something for me or feel like a burden. Then, one of my good friends and bridesmaid offered to plan it all. I am so glad and grateful that she did!!

While a bachelorette party is not truly necessary, it was such a fun and valuable time to be with some of my closest and sweetest girlfriends. In the midst of all the wedding planning stress, our weekend offered me not just a break but a great reminder of the amazing people I have in my life. I am already reminiscing about what a special time it was.

To any brides to be out there who are contemplating whether or not to do a bachelorette party – GO FOR IT! This time only comes around once, so you should not hesitate to enjoy it and live it up. The truth is – bachelorette parties do not need to be an extensive or complicated production. As long as you are with friends and family that care about you, that is all that matters. You can decide to have a big sleepover at someone’s place, do a roadtrip or plan a big weekend in Las Vegas. As long as you are doing things you like with the people you like, you will have a blast!

Bachelorette Weekend in South Carolina

For my bachelorette weekend, we ventured to the coast of South Carolina for a long weekend. Most of the time we were near a small coastal town called Georgetown. Once we arrived on Friday, we did a walk along the beach, picked up barbecue for dinner and stayed up late playing Cards Against Humanity. On Saturday, we visited the Hopsewee Plantation and explored Georgetown after getting some lunch.

That afternoon we got ready to head into Charleston for some fun! We hopped on a party bus and enjoyed some games and drinks as we headed to dinner at the Darling Oyster Bar. Dinner was delicious and the service and ambiance of the restaurant was perfect for a Bachelorette Party. We went to a bar after dinner and did a little dancing before heading home. On Sunday, we slept in and ate breakfast burritos. We also went to a painting and sipping place in Georgetown before a tasty dinner and Olympics-viewing.

Bachelorette Party Outfit

After trying a couple dresses that did not work, I was unsure of what I was going to wear on Saturday night. I managed to pull a few things together in my closet. One thing I knew I would wear were my new pumps. These shoes are knock-offs of Valentino’s Rockstud heels. They look super similar and are a fraction of the cost. I decided to get these after reading all the positive reviews on Amazon. The maker of these shoes also has several other cute knock-off shoes that I am eyeing!

Did you have a bachelorette party before you got married? Have you been a part of a fun bachelorette party? Tell me all about it and what you wore. I would love to hear your thoughts on bachelorette parties in general too.

Cheers!
