How do you know when you're ready for motherhood? It is certainly a valid question. After all, you can't order a baby, try it out and return it or press a "pause" to wait for a better time to care for the child. In our society, we see plenty of pregnancy announcements, but people often don't talk about what led up to that moment. So, when I asked on Instagram what questions you all had for me about motherhood, maybe I shouldn't have been surprised to get this question from a lot of people. Wondering if I was ready for motherhood was something I thought a lot about in the years leading up to having our son. So, today I'm going to share more about what that looked like for me and how I knew I was ready.
