Hi friends! How was your weekend? Martin Luther King Jr. Day gave me a three day weekend, which was definitely a treat. And while I’m glad the weather wasn’t unbearably cold, I’m also crossing my fingers that we get a big snow before winter is over. I’d love a good excuse to trek my favorite winter boots through the snow! I got my favorite boots two Christmases ago and have only fallen more in love with them over time. That’s the sign of a solid purchase, right?! My Sorel boots are the Tivoli style. The shaft and top of the boot is a tan suede, while the soles and laces are black. I have found this color combo goes with a lot, and it looks especially nice with blue jeans.
The best news is that these boots go on sale often! Below are some additional styles from Sorel, if you want a boot with a slightly different look or color.
Similar Sorel’s: Joan of Arctic Boot; Caribou Boot; Winter Carnival Boot; Tivoli High II
These boots have held up really well in the snow, and the tread on them is excellent. I don’t have to worry about slipping when I walk on ice. I wore them last winter throughout a crazy blizzard (pictures below), and my feet stayed warm and dry throughout several long walks in the snow. One recommendation for sizing – these boots tend to run on the small side. So, I would definitely order a half-size up or even a whole size up if you would like them to be comfortable with thick socks on.
Do you have a favorite pair of winter boots that helped you survive a snow storm? Do you love wearing Sorel boots in the wintertime? I would love to hear all about your favorite snow boots.
Cheers to a great week!
