Hi friends! Happy Labor Day weekend!! This week has been a little wild with a cold hitting me and Will and Liam getting a stubborn rash. We were supposed to be at the beach today, but with the illnesses and the flexibility we have when staying with my parents and work, we punted the trip a few days. I guess that's also a plus of traveling by car! But anywayyy, today feels like the last true summer Friday and Labor Day weekend always feels like the true end of summer to me. Excitedly, I made a fall bucket list last night.. as if I needed another reason to be excited for my favorite season.
Hi friends! I don't know about you but so many of the world's current events have left me feeling more drained and stressed than usual. It's hard to believe and really wrap my head around how much life as we know it has changed because of the pandemic. And, it's mind boggling that eighteen months into this there is still so much uncertainty. UGH. But today, I don't want to focus on the things that are largely out of our control. I want to share some self care ideas with you all and talk about the importance of scheduling in and planning for some self care each week.
We are one month into spring, and I guess it is better late than never to share my bucket list for this spring! I actually made this list last month to feel inspired to do some fun and timely spring things. In all honesty, I have a couple other to-do lists full of much more boring, adulting and home improvement things (hello taxes and my never-ending powder room project). In fact, it's because of those to-do lists that I am just now sharing this bucket list. But, I digress! If you're feeling in a rut or looking for ideas of things to do this spring, I hope this list gives you a little inspiration to do something new or a different during this beautiful season.
