Hi friends! NSale public access kicks off tomorrow (August 19th) morning at 9:30 a.m. E.T./6:30 a.m. P.T. Like many things this year, the NSale, more formally known as the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, looks different, thanks to COVID. I placed my order last Monday and still have a few things that haven’t arrived via shipping. There are a lot of things currently out of stock, and I’m not sure how much will be restocked tomorrow. BUT I HAVE GOOD NEWS! There are some top notch in-stock items and I found several “Look for Less” options for items that are out of stock or low in stock.
Note: For more about the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale and my shopping tips and original top picks, check out this post.
Top In-Stock Items

Zella Live In Leggings – On Sale: $38.90 // Retail: $59
These are such a great quality legging and definitely worth getting for $20 less! I have a pair I bought years ago that are in the best shape compared to other leggings I got around the same time.

Tory Burch Wallet – On Sale: $149.90 // Retail: $248
The Tory Burch handbags and wallets marked down at the NSale are all great buys. They are classic pieces that will last for years, but I am especially fond of this wallet. It’s so pretty and such a good price!

Barefoot Dreams Cozy Chic Cardigan – On Sale: $68.90 // Retail: $116
I got this cardigan last year and I fully plan on wearing it nonstop during postpartum. It is SO soft, SO comfortable and this style just has a way of making you feel more put together than a chunky cardigan.

Paige Denim – On Sale: $149.90 // Retial: $229
I bought a version of these jeans last year and they’re easily one of my favorite pairs of jeans. The fit and quality are amazing. They have the perfect amount of stretch too. If you’re going to treat yourself to some designer denim, this is the perfect time to do it.

BLANKNYC Suede Moto Jacket – On Sale: $111.90 // Retail: $188
This brand has suede moto jackets in the NSale every year, and we should all be thankful for that. They’re a perfect fall style staple and they’re such good quality.. worth every penny!

Spanx Faux Leather Leggings – On Sale: $64.90 // Normally: $98
There are a lot of dupes out there for these super popular leggings. But these are the BEST quality. If you can, definitely snag them during the NSale. For that Spanx “hold you in feeling” get your normal size, otherwise I’d size up.

Marc Fisher Bootie – – On Sale: $99.90 // Retail: $189.95
Marc Fisher booties are another great quality item that is totally worth the retail price. Now, marked down at almost half off, these were a no-brainer for me to snag. I could use a good quality bootie in this cognac color, and I know they’ll last me for multiple years.
NSale Look for Less
I’m so excited to share with y’all a few really similar and more affordable options for several popular NSale items. As you’ll see, most of the NSale items linked below and pictured on the left are either completely out of stock or low in stock. All the “Look for Less” items are pictured on the right and they all currently cost less than the NSale version!

Adidas Sneakers at NSale: $49.90 // Look for Less Style: $45
I was surprised to find such a similar style of Adidas sneakers on sale. Sadly, I ordered the NSale version in the wrong size so I’m thinking about returning them and getting the look for less style instead.

Free People Sweater at NSale: $69.90 // Look for Less Style: $32.99
It was no surprise this chunky Free People sold out quickly. I snagged it in the wine color before I found this look for less version. Now I want to get the look for less version to see how they compare.

Def Leopard Band Tee at NSale: $44.90 // Look for Less Style: $22
We’re all here for the band tees this year, riiight?? I love the look of the NSale version but even on sale, $44.90 feels too expensive for a trendy t-shirt. The $22 is just as cute!!

Barefoot Dreams Leopard Cardigan at NSale: $49.90 // Look for Less Style: $32.98
I know. I just said the Barefoot Dreams cozy lite cardigan is worth every penny. But, for a more trendy look, like this leopard print, I’d go for the more affordable version any day!

Steve Madden at NSale: $49.90 // Look-a-Like Style: $39.95

Nordstrom Pajamas at NSale: $29.90 // Look-a-Like Style: $21.99
Both of these pajama sets have tons of 5-star reviews, so it’s safe to say you cannot go wrong with either choice. Personally, I like the look-a-like style from Target because I don’t like to pay much for pajamas and they are $21.99 year-round. They also come in more color/print options, and they just launched a leopard print set I’m snagging for postpartum! One more thing — both brands offer sleep shirt and long-sleeve/long pant versions.

Ugg Slippers at NSale: $59.90 // Look for Less Style: $15
I was so excited to get these Ugg slippers at the NSale this year because my slippers were falling apart. But, when I pulled them out of the box I was disappointed. For $60, they’re not that soft and they’re not that comfortable. The Look for Less option seems just as good and has great reviews.
If you’re shopping the NSale this year, I hope this was a helpful resource for you! I’d love to hear what you are shopping for too.
Cheers!
