A Blush Crush: Valentine’s Day Style

Pale pink, blush, baby pink, rose… whatever you want to call it, I am majorly crushing on this color lately. Blush is a perfect color for a Valentine’s Day look as well. Here are a few crush-worthy blush pieces that are particularly fun for the holiday, whether you are staying in or going out.

ModCloth Button-Up Top in Puff, $50

NYJD Ami Release Hem Stretch Skinny Jeans, $114

Halogen Tie Neck Sleeveless Blouse, $59

Lush Split Neck Shift Dress, $46

525 America Off-Shoulder Sweater, $96

ModCloth Pleats as Punch A-Line Skirt, $50

NYDJ Henley Blouse, $88

I personally love pairing blush with blush are army or olive green and grey. For example, the Modcloth skirt above would look great with a light grey and white striped shirt. The 525 America sweater would also look chic with grey or olive jeans and pumps. Olive green and grey tend to be more unexpected than your navy or black palettes, but blush on blush is also a hot trend. If you want to keep your whole look neutral, you could pair the ModCloth blouse with the NYDJ jeans.

Do you have any favorite clothes in blush that you are loving? Are you doing anything special for Valentine’s Day?

I prefer to stay in on the day of Valentine’s Day and keep things low key. Restaurants tend to get a little to crazy for me, going out a couple days before or after the holiday is a nice way to spice things up. This year, Will and I will celebrate a little early since I have a surprise planned for him! Let me know what you have planned.

Cheers!
