Hi friends! I know I have professed my love for fall many times on here, but there’s just so many things I love about the season. One of them has always been fall decorations. In fact, I have been itching to decorate for fall for a few weeks now. I know. It’s only early September. But, before I could begin I did some deliberating over what exactly I wanted to do and a lot of perusing of all the affordable fall home decor out there. The good news is I found so many great affordable fall decor pieces! So, I thought I would share my finds along with how I decorated our family room for fall.

Our family room has a wall of exposed brick, and I wanted to find some home decor pieces that would really compliment it. Thankfully, it was pretty easy to find some rust colored pieces. I found a check lumbar pillow and another tassel pillow that I instantly new would add the right amount of warmth to the couch. For an extra fall touch I found some really cute woven pumpkins. I love that they are neutral but have some texture. They will work in several other rooms in our house to if I want to move things around next year.
Here’s a round-up of the fall decor I added to our family room:
Birch & Amber Candle – Really love this scent! Not overpowering and the jar can easily be reused as an accent piece.
Windowpane Plaid Lumbar Pillow – Got this in shade Copper but it also comes a neutral shade and square sizes.
Square Tassel Pillow – The quality of this is so good. Thinking I will keep this one year round.
Neutral Striped Square Pillow – The reverse side of this is plaid! It also comes in a blue version.
Faux fur pillow – I have owned a pair of these for years and love them. Great quality.
Chunky Knit Throw Blanket – Super soft and it’s the Heather Oatmeal shade.
Woven Pumpkins – large – medium – small
Artificial Purple Hydrangea Arrangement in Ceramic Pot – This is my favorite find! It’s even prettier in person!

Additional Family Room Decor Details
Sofa – Joybird Holt Sectional with Storage in Dawson Slate
12 Black Frames with White Mat – These come with artwork in black and white and color options if you don’t want to print out your own photos!
Wooden Coffee Table Tray – I love this thing for adding seasonal decor and candles. It also comes in a circle version.
Fiddle Leaf Fig Tree – Full disclosure: This tree is on a box so it’s not typically this tall. I took it from our master bedroom because I wanted to see how I’d like a tall tree in our family room. Now I’m on the hunt for one this tall.

Decorating for fall always brightens my day, so I hope these fall home decor finds are not just helpful, but leave you feeling a little more cheerful and in the mood for fall! I still need to update our front door for fall and our entryway, but it feels good to have this room ready. If you are decorating for fall, I would love to hear what decor items you are loving and what you are decorating.
Cheers!
