Hi friends! The Nordstrom Anniversary sale opens to cardholders today, so I am sharing a run through of the best investment pieces. These are items that are definitely worth taking advantage of during this sale. If you have the budget to splurge on an item or two this year, these are the pieces I recommend considering. These are classic pieces that will last you many years!
The Farrah High Waist Ankle Skinny Jeans
Retail: $225 | Sale: $149.90
I bought these jeans a few years ago at a previous Nordstrom Anniversary Sale and they have truly stood the test of time. They fit so well! Being on the taller side (5’8″) a lot of the denim on sale this year is not long enough for me. If you are a similar height definitely check these out, and if you are shorter, just know you’ll probably need to hem these. Either way, this style of AG jeans is SO good! My back-up option for high-end denim is Paige and they have some great options this year too.
Stuart Weitzman Darla Over the Knee Boot
Retail: $795 | Sale: $499.90
Stuart Weitzman hardly ever goes on sale and these boots went super quick last year. I don’t personally own these, but I have heard they are 100% worth the investment. If this is out of your price range, my more budget-friendly suggestion is this pair by Marc Fisher.
Tory Burch Crossbody – Everly Leather Flap Saddle Bag
Retail: $458 | Sale: $305.90
If you’re a Tory Burch lover, this is the time to take advantage of some GREAT discounts. I got a similar crossbody last year, and am eyeing the one above! Tory Burch has a couple other crossbody options on sale too. Whatever style suits you, you can’t go wrong with these bags! And if Tory Burch just isn’t your style, I would check out the Madewell bags on sale!
BLANKNYC Next Level Suede Moto Jacket
Retail: $188 | Sale: $125.90
These suede moto jackets are a great quality and something to wear year after year. I got one a couple years ago during this sale and it’s something I know I’ll have for many more years. If you really want to splurge, check out this leather jacket from ALLSAINTS and for a more budget friendly version, I suggest this jacket from TOPSHOP.
Frye Carly Tall Boot
Retail: $397.95 | Sale: $249.90
This is another item I bought from the sale years ago and they are still in GREAT condition. I love this style and color because they go with everything and can easily be dressed up or down. If you are looking for a similar style with a little bling, the Tory Burch ones are a great option!
Barbour Shoreline Water Resistant Waxed Jacket
Retail: $375 | Sale: $249.90
Barbour jackets are amazing quality and you can never get them marked down like this. Growing up, my siblings and I would hand them down as we grew out of them. The style above is the most classic style but there are some quilted options that are on sale and even more affordable this year too.
Vince Ward Knit Slip-On Sneaker
Retail: $225 | Sale: $149.90
Honestly, I’m still debating getting these. I’ve tried them on and they feel like walking on clouds! They’re so comfortable and getting $75 off is hard to beat. Slip-on sneakers like this are worth the investment in my opinion because you can wear them for multiple seasons in any given year and the classic look will last for years.

Tory Burch Tote – Everly Leather Tote

Tory Burch never goes on sale like this with new styles. So, if you’re in the need for a new tote, this one is amazing. It has lots of pockets and it comes in a beautiful cognac color too. If Tory Burch and/or totes aren’t your style, I would check out this convertible hobo bag by Rebekkah Minkoff.
