Greetings from California! I’m here for a long weekend with Will and a little break from work! But I couldn’t wait to share some fall style inspiration with you all, as part of my fall style series. A couple weeks ago, I came up with a few ways to style one of my favorite pieces – a floral dress for fall! If you love floral prints, like me, hopefully this gives you some style inspiration.
The floral dress I found is honestly one of my favorite fashion purchases this fall! I first wore it to a friend’s bridal shower and I’ll actually be wearing it for a dinner party tomorrow night. It is one of those classic pieces you can wear casually or dress up. First, I’ll show you the dress styled with some fall accessories. I paired it with an awesome fedora hat I found on amazon, my cognac crossbody bag (similar) and some taupe, pointed-toe booties (they go with everything!). For early fall, this is how I would wear the dress during the day.

Three Ways to Wear a Floral Dress
Now that you’ve seen the dress on its own, here a few ways in particular you can style a floral dress this fall.
#1 – Styling the dress with a cardigan and booties makes it work well for a more casual day or event. The lightweight cardigan (similar) I am wearing fits true to size, has pockets and comes in a few other colors. It is one of those great neutral pieces that’s essential for any fall wardrobe.
#2 – To dress up this feminine, floral number, I love pairing it with an edgy suede moto jacket (similar) and heels. The nude booties I am wearing are another great purchase for this fall, and super comfortable to walk in. However, to dress it up even more, you can wear a classic pump or peep toe heel.
#3 – For another casual look, I love the option of throwing on a pullover sweater with this dress (and really with dresses in general). I tied my sweater to help define my waist and added a pendant necklace to top it off.

Shop the Looks
Now, that you’ve seen the three ways I’d style the dress, I’d love to hear which is your favorite! Florals are something I love to wear year-round, but dark floral patterns are my favorite to style in fall and winter. I would love to hear what you like to wear in the fall and winter? Do you love floral dresses too?
Cheers!

Awww very cute is that ok to wear for fall in Washington? I love that look
