Hi friends! Social distancing is in FULL swing, so I figure there is no better time than now to share what I’m wearing on repeat these days. I call it my stay home style! Wearing these items makes me feel comfortable but still put together, which definitely makes a difference in my mindset these days. In addition to wearing things I love there are a few other things I’m trying to integrate into each day to keep my mindset positive. I share those at the bottom!

My Stay Home Style Staples
Long-sleeve Henley Tee
Love this so much I got it in more colors. It has an oversized fit, thumb holes and slit sides that work great for tucking.
Barefoot Dreams Cardigan
I bought this cardigan during last year’s Nordstrom Anniversary Sale and I cannot stop wearing it. We’ve been keeping the temperature pretty low at home and wearing this feels like I have a super soft blanket around me.
Cotton T-Shirts
I got a few of these scoop neck t-shirts before the social distancing began, and the colors, quality and fit of them make me so happy. They are super comfortable with a cardigan at home and I know they’ll work just as well with my work wardrobe when teleworking is over. I also got this leopard print tee and love if for the same reasons!
Joggers
I’ve tried too many pairs of joggers and these are hands-down my favorite. They wash well (don’t pill, don’t shrink) and still look like new after lots of washes. The fit is flattering and the comfy fabric has a nice, polished look to it. So I feel as good wearing them for workouts and errands as I do on my couch!
Leggings
Lounging around in leggings is just the best, and there are a couple pairs I have really been loving. The more expensive ones I love are by Lululemon. They don’t slide down and have held up for years. I found the more affordable ones I love on Amazon. This under $30 pair is often compared to Lululemon and as soon as I put them on it was easy to see why. Both pairs of leggings are made for lounging and light workouts like yoga or walking.
Stretchy Jeans
Confession time – these are the only jeans I’ve put on since the social distancing began. The stretchy fit of them makes them SO comfortable. I wear them when I go outside for walks with Will and on our rare grocery store runs. ALSO, I never see these on sale, but they’re currently 30% off!
Cozy Slippers
I’ve talked about these before, and yes, I’m still loving them. They are warm and the tread on them makes them super durable. If they get dirty, you can also throw them into the washing machine and they’ll come out just like new. They fit true to size and are also 40% off right now!
Alrighty there ya have it, my stay home style staples.

Maintaining a Positive Mindset at Home
I hope you’re all staying cozy and remembering to take care of yourself in this time of uncertainty. For me, there are a few things I’m doing in addition to wearing the items I just mentioned (on repeat) that help me stay positive, in the midst of all the unknown surrounding us! Here are my daily goals to keep a positive mindset at home:
- take time to get ready — pick out an outfit, put on mascara, etc.
- make the bed
- make a goal to drink 72oz. of water
- move my body
- get fresh air outside
- make time for a self care
For the self care part, I try to switch this up and do at least one thing for my own pleasure. It can be reading a book, taking a bath or putting on a face mask. I have more self care ideas here, if you need them.
On the days that I have not done these things, I’ve definitely noticed that I feel more negative, more anxious and less at peace with the current way things are. I hope hearing what I’m doing helps you find ways to stay positive and find peace right now. If there’s anything working well for you, I’d love to hear about it too.
Cheers!

Wow, that’s really pretty! And you look gorgeous!
